Delivery at a glance

Standard$4.95

Allow 5–10 business days after dispatch.

Express$8.95

Allow 2–5 business days after dispatch.

CoverageAustralia

Enter a complete street address and postcode at checkout.

Timeframes are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. Express Delivery shortens carrier transit time but does not change product availability or warehouse handling time.

Processing and tracking

  1. Order confirmationWe confirm that the order has been received. This is not a dispatch notice.
  2. ProcessingPayment, stock and delivery details may be checked before dispatch.
  3. DispatchTracking or carrier contact details are sent when available. Multi-item orders may arrive separately.
  4. DeliveryKeep the delivery area accessible and inspect cartons as soon as reasonably possible.

Furniture and oversized products

What standard delivery includes

  • Kerbside or a safe ground-level position unless the product page or carrier confirms otherwise.
  • Delivery during the carrier’s available window.
  • Reasonable notification or tracking where the carrier provides it.

What is not included

  • Stairs, lifts, internal placement, assembly, installation or packaging removal unless expressly included.
  • Moving existing furniture or making the site ready.
  • Delivery through unsafe, restricted or unsuitable access.

Your delivery responsibilities

Check product and carton dimensions before ordering. You must provide an accurate address, a working contact number and safe access suitable for the delivery vehicle and product. Tell us before dispatch about stairs, lifts, narrow gates, steep driveways, restricted parking, building bookings or other access limits.

If delivery cannot be completed because the address is incorrect, nobody is available when attendance is required, or access was not disclosed or is unsafe, the carrier may return the goods. A reasonable re-delivery, storage or return charge may apply.

PO boxes and remote areas

Bulky products cannot be delivered to PO boxes or parcel lockers. Remote, island and restricted-access locations may have limited service or require alternative arrangements.

Delays, address changes and cancellations

Carrier delays can occur because of weather, road closures, peak periods, supplier delays or events outside reasonable control. We will provide available updates but estimated dates are not guarantees.

Contact us immediately if an address is wrong. We cannot promise changes after dispatch, and carrier redirect fees may apply. Cancellation requests are handled under our Returns & Refunds Policy and may not be possible once an order has entered dispatch.

Damage, missing parts or the wrong item

Inspect the outer packaging and product promptly. If an item arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, stop assembly or use where practical, keep the product and packaging, and contact support@zinson.com with the order number and clear photos.

Please report visible transit issues within 48 hours where possible so we can act quickly with the carrier. This request does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Service availability and dispatch

Delivery is currently offered to eligible Australian street addresses. Local pickup is not offered. The options shown at checkout are the options available for the address and cart at that time; adding another item or changing the postcode may change availability.

“In stock” means the product is expected to be available for allocation, not that it will leave a warehouse the same day. Processing can include payment clearance, fraud screening, stock confirmation, packing and carrier booking. Business days exclude weekends and Victorian public holidays.

Some postcodes, islands, remote communities, defence facilities, mines, construction sites and restricted premises may be outside a carrier’s standard network. If an accepted order cannot be delivered on the selected service, we will contact you to discuss an alternative, a reasonable additional charge that you may accept or reject, or cancellation and refund of the affected item.

Carriers, bookings and tracking

We may use Australia Post, parcel couriers, furniture carriers, supplier delivery networks or another suitable service. The carrier can be selected according to product size, destination and network capacity.

  • Tracking can take up to 24 hours after dispatch to show its first scan.
  • Large-item carriers may arrange a delivery window by phone, SMS or email instead of live parcel tracking.
  • A delivery window is an estimate and the driver may be affected by traffic, earlier jobs, weather or site access.
  • Carrier messages are sent to the contact details on the order, so those details must remain current.
  • We cannot require every carrier to call immediately before arrival.

Do not arrange installers, tradespeople or time-sensitive work until the complete order has arrived and been checked.

Signature and authority to leave

Some deliveries require a signature. Where a carrier offers authority to leave, you may be able to nominate a safe, weather-protected and lawful place. The carrier may refuse to leave goods if the location is unsafe, exposed, inaccessible or inconsistent with its rules.

If you give authority to leave, delivery is treated as completed when the carrier records the goods as left at the nominated address, subject to any rights that cannot be excluded. Choose a location that is not visible from the street and is protected from rain, pets and vehicle traffic. High-value or oversized orders may remain signature-required even if authority to leave is requested.

If no authority is given and nobody can accept a signature-required delivery, the carrier may take the item to a depot, collection point or back to its facility.

Split shipments, backorders and partial delivery

Products in one order may come from different warehouses or suppliers and can arrive in separate consignments on different days. One tracking number may not cover every carton. Unless we agree otherwise with you, splitting an order does not create an additional delivery charge beyond the amount confirmed at checkout.

If part of an order is delayed or unavailable, we may offer to:

  • dispatch available items and send the balance later;
  • wait and dispatch the order together;
  • offer a suitable alternative for your approval; or
  • cancel and refund the unavailable item.

Receiving one carton does not necessarily mean the order is complete. Check the dispatch notice, carton labels and packing information before reporting a missing item.

Missed delivery, refusal and re-delivery

You must be available where attendance or a signature has been arranged. If delivery fails because no authorised person is present, access is unsafe, details are wrong or the goods are refused without a lawful reason, the carrier may charge for storage, return transport or another delivery attempt.

Any amount charged by ZINSON will reflect a reasonable cost connected with the failed delivery and will be explained before re-delivery is arranged. A carrier collection deadline may apply; goods not collected in time can be returned to sender.

Refusing a delivery does not automatically cancel an order or create a refund. Contact customer care first so the reason can be recorded and the correct return, redelivery or Australian Consumer Law process can be followed.

Delivery claims and investigation

For a lost, damaged, incomplete or incorrectly delivered order, contact us with the order number, delivery address and a clear description. Useful evidence can include photos of every side of the carton, shipping labels, internal packaging, the affected part, serial or batch numbers and a list of missing components.

We may need reasonable time to check warehouse records, carrier scans, delivery photographs, GPS records and product information. You must not dispose of the goods or packaging until we confirm that they are no longer required for assessment or safe return.

Where an Australian Consumer Law guarantee has not been met, the available remedy will depend on whether the problem is major or minor and on the circumstances. Carrier claim procedures do not replace or reduce your statutory rights.

Return policy at a glance

Change of mind30 days

Unused, unassembled and resaleable, with proof of purchase.

Arrived damagedTell us promptly

Keep the item and packaging and send clear photos.

Approved refundOriginal method

Bank processing time may apply after we issue it.

Change-of-mind returns

You may request a change-of-mind return within 30 calendar days after delivery. Approval is subject to inspection and all of the following conditions:

  • You provide the order number or another reasonable proof of purchase.
  • The product is unused, unassembled, uninstalled, unwashed and free from marks, damage, odours and signs of wear.
  • All parts, fixings, manuals and accessories are complete.
  • The original packaging is intact and suitable for resale.
  • All product tags, labels, protective films and seals remain attached and unaltered.
  • You contact us and receive return instructions before sending or delivering the product.
Customer-caused damage is not a change-of-mind return

We may decline a return where the product has been damaged through handling, assembly, installation, misuse, neglect, modification, weather exposure or failure to follow product instructions.

Change-of-mind exclusions

Not normally accepted

  • Assembled, installed, used or altered products.
  • Customised, made-to-order or specially sourced products.
  • Clearance or final-sale products clearly marked before purchase.
  • Hygiene-sensitive goods once opened or unsealed.

Costs

  • You are responsible for safe return transport and its cost.
  • Original delivery charges are not refunded for change of mind.
  • For bulky items, an agreed collection cost may be deducted from the refund.
  • The product remains your responsibility until received by the nominated return location.

These exclusions apply to voluntary change-of-mind returns only. They do not remove rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty, damaged, unsafe or incorrect products

If a product arrives damaged, is faulty, unsafe, materially different from its description or is not the item ordered, contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Include your order number, a clear description and photos or video where useful. Do not continue assembly or use if doing so may cause further damage or create a safety risk.

For a major failure, the Australian Consumer Law may allow you to choose a refund or replacement. For a minor problem, we may choose to repair the product or otherwise provide an appropriate remedy within a reasonable time. Original packaging or attached tags are not a condition of an Australian Consumer Law remedy, although keeping packaging can make collection and assessment easier.

A remedy is not available for a problem caused by abnormal use, misuse, customer damage, unauthorised modification, ignored instructions or ordinary wear and tear.

How to request a return

  1. Contact customer careEmail support@zinson.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Provide supporting detailsFor damage or faults, include clear photos and stop using the product if unsafe.
  3. Wait for instructionsDo not send bulky goods to the business address without written return approval.
  4. Pack the productUse suitable protective packaging and include every approved component.
  5. Assessment and outcomeWe will confirm the applicable repair, replacement, refund or return outcome after assessment.

Refund timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method unless another method is required by law or agreed with you. We aim to process an approved refund within 5 business days. Banks and payment providers may take a further 2–10 business days to display the funds.

Proof of purchase can include an order confirmation, receipt, account record or another reasonable record that identifies the transaction.

Scope and order of priority

This policy applies to physical products purchased directly from the ZINSON website by Australian consumers. It explains our voluntary change-of-mind offer and the procedure used when a product is faulty, damaged, unsafe, incorrectly described or not the item ordered.

The Australian Consumer Law takes priority wherever it gives you a right that is more favourable than this policy. A fixed return window, missing packaging, removed tags or a manufacturer process cannot be used to refuse a remedy that the law requires. The 30-day limit and resale conditions apply only to voluntary change-of-mind returns.

Products bought from another retailer must be returned to that retailer unless ZINSON has expressly agreed otherwise.

Proof of purchase and claim details

For efficient processing, provide the ZINSON order number and the email address used at checkout. If these are unavailable, reasonable proof can include a receipt, payment record, account history or other evidence that identifies the product, price, date and seller.

We may ask for your name, contact details, product or serial information and reasonable evidence of the issue. Photos and video help with remote assessment but do not automatically determine the outcome. For higher-value claims, we may verify identity before releasing account information or issuing a refund.

A gift recipient can contact us about a faulty product, but a refund will normally return to the original purchaser’s payment method unless the law or both parties require another outcome.

Order changes and cancellations before delivery

Submit a cancellation or change request as soon as possible. We will try to stop an order before dispatch, but a request is not accepted until confirmed by ZINSON.

  • Before stock allocation or dispatch, a cancellation can usually be processed without return freight.
  • After packing, carrier booking or dispatch, cancellation may no longer be possible.
  • Specially sourced, customised or made-to-order products may not be cancellable once production or supplier commitment has started.
  • An address change after dispatch depends on the carrier and may attract a redirect fee.
  • Refusing delivery without approval may result in reasonable return and re-delivery costs.

If an order has already left the warehouse, an unwanted product is handled under the change-of-mind conditions after it is safely returned.

Exchanges, replacements and repairs

Direct exchanges depend on stock availability and delivery practicality. For an approved change-of-mind request, we may process a refund and ask you to place a new order instead of reserving replacement stock.

For a major product failure, you may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement under the Australian Consumer Law. For a minor failure, ZINSON may choose to repair the product or provide another appropriate remedy within a reasonable time. If a minor problem cannot be remedied within a reasonable time, further rights may arise.

A replacement product may be the same model or, with your agreement, a reasonably equivalent product where the original is unavailable. Replacing one component does not necessarily require replacement of unaffected components when a partial remedy is reasonable and lawful.

Assessment and condition inspection

Returned products are checked against the approved reason for return. Assessment can include confirming identity, completeness, condition, installation history, usage, serial numbers and the reported fault. We may consult a supplier, technician or manufacturer, but ZINSON remains responsible for remedies it is legally required to provide as the seller.

For change of mind, we may refuse the return or reduce the proposed voluntary refund where the product is incomplete, packaging is damaged, tags are removed or handling has reduced resale value. We will explain the reason and provide available evidence.

For a claimed fault, inspection may determine that the product is operating normally, has suffered ordinary wear, or was damaged by misuse, incorrect assembly, unsuitable installation, weather exposure or unauthorised repair. If no product failure is found and the law permits, reasonable inspection or return transport costs may be payable after they are disclosed.

Return transport and packaging

Do not send a product until ZINSON provides the return location and instructions. The Williamstown business address is not automatically a returns depot and may be unable to accept unannounced bulky freight.

Change of mind

  • You arrange or pay for approved return transport.
  • You must package the item to prevent transit damage.
  • Use tracking and suitable transit insurance for valuable goods.
  • Risk remains with you until the approved return location receives the product.

Consumer guarantee claim

  • We will provide reasonable return instructions.
  • For large or heavy faulty goods, we will arrange or reimburse reasonable transport where required by law.
  • Do not independently book costly freight without approval unless urgent safety circumstances make that reasonable.
  • Keep receipts for any authorised expense.

Bundles, promotions, gifts and discounts

A change-of-mind return for a bundle must include every component unless we approve a partial return. If only part of a discounted bundle is returned, the refund may be recalculated using the price that would have applied to the retained items without the bundle discount.

A gift-with-purchase must also be returned unused and complete, or its reasonable advertised value may be deducted from a voluntary refund. Promotional codes and discounts are not redeemable for cash and are not reissued automatically after a return.

If a faulty item formed part of a bundle, the remedy will reflect the failure and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law; voluntary promotion rules do not remove those rights.

Refund calculations and deductions

An approved refund can include the product price and any delivery amount that must be refunded by law. Original delivery charges are not refunded for change of mind. Reasonable approved return, collection, storage or re-delivery costs may be deducted only where this policy permits and the basis is explained.

Refunds are not issued before ZINSON has enough information to approve the outcome. Cash refunds are not available for card, Stripe, PayID or bank-transfer orders unless required or expressly agreed. If the original payment account has closed, contact the provider and ZINSON so a lawful alternative can be assessed.

If you disagree with an outcome

Reply to the customer-care decision with the order number, the outcome you are seeking and any additional evidence. Ask for the matter to be reviewed if you believe important information or an Australian Consumer Law right was missed.

We aim to acknowledge a return complaint within 2 business days and provide a substantive response within a reasonable time, depending on inspection and third-party information. You may also seek information from the ACCC or contact the consumer affairs or fair trading body in your state or territory. These bodies may provide guidance even where they do not decide individual disputes.

Available payment methods

CardsVisa, Mastercard & AmEx

Processed securely through the payment provider shown at checkout.

Online paymentsStripe & PayID

Availability and instructions are confirmed during checkout.

Direct paymentBank transfer

The order remains pending until cleared funds are received.

Only rely on methods and instructions displayed in checkout or in an order email sent from ZINSON. Availability may vary by order or payment-provider checks.

Prices, GST and authorisation

Unless stated otherwise, prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Delivery charges and any other amount payable are shown before the order is submitted.

Card payments may be authorised when the order is placed. Your bank may show a pending authorisation even if an order is later declined or cancelled; the bank controls when that hold disappears. We may ask the payment provider to complete fraud-prevention or identity checks before accepting an order.

PayID and bank transfer

Use the exact payment reference and account details shown at checkout or in your ZINSON order instructions. An order paid by PayID or bank transfer is not ready for dispatch until the payment has cleared and can be matched to the order.

Protect yourself from payment fraud

We will never ask you to email card numbers, passwords or one-time security codes. If bank details appear to change in an unexpected email, do not pay—contact us using the phone number published on this website first.

Failed, duplicated or suspicious payments

If payment fails, check the billing details and available funds before trying again. A failed attempt can still appear temporarily as pending. If you believe you were charged twice, contact support@zinson.com with the order number and transaction date, but do not send full card details.

We may hold, decline or cancel an order where payment is not authorised, details cannot be verified or fraud is reasonably suspected. Any captured amount for an order we cancel will be refunded to the original payment method.

Refunds

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method wherever possible. ZINSON processing and your bank’s settlement time are separate; see the Returns & Refunds Policy for timing and eligibility.

How payment processing works

  1. You choose a methodCheckout displays the methods currently configured for the order.
  2. The provider checks the paymentYour bank or payment provider may verify funds, identity, device and fraud signals.
  3. Authorisation or pending statusA card may be authorised immediately; a transfer remains pending until cleared and matched.
  4. Order reviewPayment approval does not by itself guarantee stock or order acceptance.
  5. Capture, settlement or refundThe provider completes the transaction or returns funds according to the order outcome.

Payment providers can impose their own account, authentication, transaction and processing rules. ZINSON does not control a bank’s approval decision or pending-transaction display time.

Card and account security

Card transactions are submitted to the payment provider shown in checkout. ZINSON does not need customers to send full card numbers, card security codes, passwords or one-time authentication codes by email, contact form, SMS or phone.

  • Use a private device and trusted network when placing an order.
  • Check that the address bar uses HTTPS before entering payment information.
  • Do not share bank login details or verification codes with ZINSON staff.
  • Contact your bank immediately if a card or account may be compromised.
  • Keep order confirmations private because they contain personal and transaction information.

No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. Suspected website or payment fraud should be reported to support@zinson.com without including secret payment credentials.

Identity, address and fraud verification

To protect customers and the business, an order may be held while billing details, delivery details, identity or payment authority are checked. We may ask you to confirm limited information already connected with the order or to contact the payment provider.

We will not ask for a complete card number, online banking password or one-time security code. If requested information is not provided within a reasonable time, or the information does not reasonably verify the transaction, the order may be declined or cancelled and any captured amount refunded.

Different billing and delivery addresses, repeated failed attempts, unusually large quantities or inconsistent account details can trigger review but do not automatically mean wrongdoing.

PayID and bank-transfer deadlines

Transfer instructions must be followed exactly, including the order reference. The customer is responsible for sending the correct amount to the correct account. Bank processing can be delayed by cut-off times, weekends, public holidays, first-time payee holds and financial-crime screening.

Unless the order confirmation states another period, transfer orders should be paid within 3 business days. Stock is not guaranteed while payment is outstanding. If cleared funds cannot be identified or are not received in time, we may contact you, release allocated stock or cancel the unpaid order.

An overpayment or unidentified transfer may require identity and bank-account verification before it can be returned. We will not redirect a refund to an unrelated third-party account.

Order records, receipts and tax information

After checkout, an order acknowledgement is sent to the email address supplied. It records products, delivery, totals and payment status at that time. Keep it for returns, support and accounting purposes.

A tax invoice or compliant transaction record will be provided where required. Contact customer care if the business or billing details need correction. We may be unable to change the legal customer or transaction details after an order has been completed where doing so would create an inaccurate record.

Prices, discounts, delivery and GST treatment shown in the final checkout total take priority over an earlier cart estimate, except where a legal right or an obvious pricing error applies.

Discounts, store credit and payment fees

Only one promotion may apply where the promotion terms say codes cannot be combined. Discounts reduce the amount paid and therefore the maximum voluntary refund for the affected item. Expired or single-use codes are not automatically restored after cancellation or return.

ZINSON does not currently advertise gift cards or store credit as a standard payment method. If either is introduced, the checkout and specific issue terms will explain use, expiry and refund treatment.

Any card surcharge or payment fee, if introduced, will be disclosed before the order is placed and handled in accordance with applicable Australian law. Your own bank may charge unrelated account, currency or transfer fees.

Unauthorised payments, disputes and chargebacks

If you do not recognise a payment, contact your bank or payment provider immediately and notify ZINSON. The provider controls card blocks, account security and the formal unauthorised-transaction process.

For an order, delivery, return or refund disagreement, contact us first with the order number and requested outcome. This often resolves errors faster than a chargeback and allows us to supply tracking, correspondence or refund evidence.

A chargeback does not create an additional refund entitlement. If both a provider reversal and a ZINSON refund occur for the same amount, the duplicate amount remains payable or may be reversed. We may provide accurate transaction and fulfilment records to banks, payment providers and dispute bodies.

Payment support

Email support@zinson.com with the order number, payment date, amount and the last four card digits only if useful. Never send the complete card number or security code.
